The weather is finally warm today, so we drove down to Burlington, Kentucky for lunch at the historical Tousey House Tavern. The food was fabulous and we are planning a return on Tuesday for our anniversary.
I was a day late, but I still got to see the beautiful side walk art at the Burlington KY Sidewalk Chalk festival- Here is a peek
After lunch, I found a quaint vintage book store full of treasures from the past. I took home a vintage Websters Dictionary, a hardbound 1930 edition of Alice in Wonderland (this one is going to my little sister...the literary collector) and a 1926 hardbound black cover of Little Women. I'd say it was a great day.

Oh I will have to check out that little Tavern one day. We moved to Ky a couple of years ago and like to try differant places when we go exploring. Will have to add Burlington to our list. I love the vintage book stores also and have about 5 copies of Little Women (LOL) one of my favorite books along with Gone with the Wind and always looking for The Bobbsey Twin books, (was my fav when I was a kid). Love your amazing Angels!
This sounds like a lovely day, but I was wondering who won the giveaway! I couldn't find the announcement anywhere on your blog.
