Just a quick post- I wanted to show you the pins I have been working on. These are done on 2 inch wood circles, unlike my magnets, I collaged and hand painted the angels on each one. Every angel will be unique! I finish the back with vintage lace paper and add the pin. The photos were done quick, I wanted to get a couple listed for mother's day. I am enclosing a guardian angel prayer and gift wrapping each one. Perfect gift for mom! Listed in my ETSY store:andreatdesigns.etsy.com

Derby Tuesday-
My favorite thing about derby are the HATS- I love to wear hats.
Going to the derby is like participating in a huge hat fashion show. The styles range from the wildly insane to beautiful sophistication. You will rarely see the same hat twice and around every corner is a surprise. Now this is not just a "girl" thing, the guys like to show their style too!
Today's derby suggestion has some "hattitude". These are place card holders created by Amanda from A lovely Place to Land She has a great blog with the directions to this fun crafty project, that will add that special touch to a chic derby party.
Just a hint.....these are Styrofoam cups!!!!! Click here for the tutorial

New Originals-
This week I'm listing my original collages on ETSY. I do have a set of cards listed on ebay, but I am going to list on ETSY first and really concentrate on that store for a while.
Just added to my shop is this Garden Angel, click here to see the entire painting She is done on wood, I used vintage buttons and paper on her dress. She has dark brown hair and blue eyes. The quote that inspired me is one from William Shakespeare- "One touch of nature makes the whole world kin."
I thought it was appropriate for earth day, coming up this week. This would make a great mother's day gift, unique and one of a kind :) All my items will arrive gift wrapped, you will be all set for mothers day!

Prayer Flags
I discovered prayer flags today. I found this beautiful photo on flickr, now I think I will hang my own flags. Be sure to click on the link to read a little about the meaning of the flags .I'm still researching, but what I have found tells me the flags blow in the wind to send your prayers to God.

Summer is here....
for now, the sunshine has been great!
I just wanted to keep you updated on my current listings. I'm sure anyone who sells on Ebay knows they love to increase the rates, with that being said, my plan is to decrease the amount of items I list on their site. I will keep all my newest items on ETSY and work to really promote my business there. I will list extras on Ebay and overstock of craft and art supplies. My ETSY store is listed to the right, just click and find your way to my online store and "gallery"
Next.......my latest original. Summer Sisters. This is a collage done on wood. I have it listed in my ETSY store. This picture is cropped, the original is 6x12. I did this one in bright blue and sunny yellow, one of my favorite color combos :)

Back from the beach
I took a great spring break with my sister and her kids. We visited Pensacola beach and had a wonderful time. The weather was great, and I needed to feel the warm sunshine. My husband stayed home with our dogs. My oldest dog Parker was diagnosed with cancer last fall and held on as long he could. When I got home his conditioned was much worse. We lost him this past Friday. He was friendly loving dog and part of my heart is missing.
Now if I can stop crying, I will get back to business :) This piece was finished just before vacation, entitled "Soul Sister" One of the dresses is made with a cool vintage lace paper. It will be available in print soon. I am going to hold on to the original for a fall art show.
